HUNTSVILLE — Into each life, a little rain must fall. And, in this case, that little rain will pre-empt plans to install overhead message boards on Interstate 565.

Due to forecasted rain Wednesday night, crews will not install a message board that evening.

Additionally, tonight’s planned location of work has changed. Motorists should expect lane and ramp closures and total traffic stoppages for periods of about 20 minutes between 8 p.m. and 2 a.m. on the eastbound roadway between Jordan Lane and Memorial Parkway, near the Triana Boulevard overpass.

Installation of the message board on the westbound roadway between County Line Road and Greenbrier Road is tentatively postponed to Monday night.
