Athens Main Street is serving up some down-home culinary delights with the inaugural Downtown Athens Restaurant Week. From Monday through Aug. 27, the city’s restaurants offer a delectable array of dishes to please any palate.
“Come out and try an old favorite or try something new – there is so much to discover and so much to enjoy in downtown Athens,” said Devin Simmons, the chair of Downtown Athens Restaurant Week.
Downtown Athens Restaurant Week isn’t just about delicious food; it’s also a celebration of the local community and the hardworking chefs, restaurateurs, and staff who make dining in downtown Athens an unforgettable experience. So, come show your support for the local businesses that bring flavor and creativity to our town’s vibrant dining scene.
“We have great places to eat downtown, with more to come,” said Athens Main Street Executive Director Tere Richardson. “Here’s your chance to taste what they have to offer, support local, and have a chance to win a $100 gift certificate.”
