Athens High School football season to be showcased in hit show Beyond the Lights

ATHENS – North Alabama high school football fans now have a window into one of the most well-established programs in the region.

Athens High School’s football team will be documented throughout their 2024 season in WAFF 48’s Beyond the Lights: Athens.

New episodes stream at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, and will be available on demand.

In the episode that kicks off the show, the team is busy preparing for the upcoming season.
