HUNTSVILLE — Government contractor Axient has a new home.

The company is leasing approximately 30,000 square feet of space at 1100 Redstone Gateway, developer Corporate Office Properties Trust announced today.

The 121,000 square-foot building is at the front of Redstone Gateway with visibility from I-565 and Rideout Road, COPT said.

“Huntsville’s growth has created new opportunities for companies like Axient to grow and expand their footprint,” said James Lomax, vice president of Asset Management & Leasing at COPT. “We are extremely excited for a company with such a great heritage to be a part of Redstone Gateway, and we look forward to their continued success.”

Axient is the product of a 2021 merger between Huntsville-based QuantiTech and Dynamic Concepts, Millennium Engineering and Integration in Virginia, and Systems Engineering Group.

The company are now a large business serving the defense, civil, and commercial markets in Huntsville, across the U.S., and internationally.

According to Axient CEO Randy Cash, his company provides advanced engineering services and solutions to accelerate customer missions, while empowering and strengthening their people.

“Locating to Redstone Gateway helps Axient continue to realize this vision and allows us to continue to grow and serve our customers by being closer to them and their missions,” said Cash. “We are also looking forward to giving our current and future employees access to a modern work facility with so many amenities nearby and being a part of the Redstone Gateway community.”
