Bastion Technologies’ Brad Atkinson receives NASA Space Flight Awareness award

HUNTSVILLE — Brad Atkinson, a safety and mission assurance quality engineer at Bastion Technologies, was recently selected to receive the NASA Space Flight Awareness launch honoree award for his contributions to and support for the booster solid rocket motor production program.

The award recognizes professionals who have demonstrated exemplary teamwork while accomplishing a task in support of human spaceflight.

Atkinson provides the Space Launch System Booster project with support at the Northrop Grumman/NASA remote management facility in Promontory, Utah.

Atkinson will be recognized during the Artemis I SFA launch event at Kennedy Space Center targeted for August or September 2022.
