MADISON — Recognized as the top Double-A minor league baseball team for overall excellence in business operations, community involvement, and sustained success, the Rocket City Trash Pandas have received the Bob Freitas Award by Baseball America, the baseball industry’s premier publication.

“I am so proud of everyone both past and present who has made this organization what it is today,” said Trash Pandas Executive Vice President and General Manager Garrett Fahrmann. “Yes, we have an extremely popular logo, but to be recognized by Baseball America with the Freitas Award shows that our fans, partners and our full-time and part-time staff are what makes this organization special.”

Named after longtime Minor League Baseball ambassador Bob Freitas, the award honors franchises that have demonstrated long-term success and sustained excellence in the business of Minor League Baseball.

Toyota Field is staying busy this winter with the Trash Pandas Christmas Light Show, running through Dec. 28. For tickets, click HERE.
