HARTSELLE — Due to the earlier-than-expected completion of the Parker Road repair and inclement weather forecast for early next week, the Alabama Department of Transportation is rescheduling repairs on Bethel Road at I-65 to this week.

Crews planned to close the area of Bethel Road near the bridge over I-65 at 8 a.m. today. ALDOT anticipates completing repairs and reopening Bethel Road by Friday afternoon.

ALDOT repaired the approaches to the Parker Road bridge over I-65 in Hartselle and reopened the roadway Tuesday.
