HUNTSVILLE — Parkway Place is welcoming a unique retailer – BoxLunch, a pop culture gift store with a cause.
For every $10 spent in-store, BoxLunch donates a meal to the Food Bank of North Alabama, the local affiliate of Feeding America.
“We’re thrilled to be joining the rest of the great brands at Parkway Place Mall,” said Rick Vargas, senior vice president of merchandising and marketing for BoxLunch. “We look forward to supporting the and continuing to support Feeding America’s local hunger-relief efforts in the new territory.”
BoxLunch carries a curated selection of officially licensed apparel, accessories, collectibles, beauty, home goods, and gift and novelty merchandise.
Several events are scheduled this week to celebrate the opening.
Thursday, 5-9 p.m.
BoxLunch Loyalty Members get a sneak peek at the new store prior to the public opening Friday. An in-store DJ will be hosting the event.
Loyalty Members will receive an exclusive grand opening preview event email with a coupon for $10 off your same-day in-store purchases. No reservation is needed. Show the BoxLunch store associate the email coupon for the grand opening preview event.
Members can bring one guest and if they sign up for the loyalty program in-store, they will also receive $10 off at the event. The sneak peek offer is only valid preview night and will expire upon store closing Thursday night.
Friday, 10 a.m.– 8 p.m.
BoxLunch is holding a soft opening.
Saturday, 10 a.m.-8 p.m.
The DJ returns for in-store trivia and prizes all day. The first 50 customers will receive a mystery gift card worth up to $100.
The retailer is giving away BoxLunch totes and discount coupons to visitors from noon until 4 p.m.
