Bridge repair underway on US 231/431 north of Hazel Green

HUNTSVILLE — Northbound traffic on U.S. 231/431 will be slowed for the next two weeks due to bridge work north of Hazel Green.

Alabama Department of Transportation crews are repairing the northbound bridge over the West Fork Flint River north of Hazel Green in Madison County.

The outside northbound lane will be closed this week and the inside northbound lane will be closed next week.

Motorists are advised to reduce speed and be prepared to merge. Expect delays and plan additional travel time.
