“I’m incredibly excited to introduce the 11 companies at our showcase event in such a beautiful venue,” said Haley Medved Kendrick, gener8tor senior managing director of Investment Accelerators. “This program is all about supporting and celebrating the Tennessee Valley’s entrepreneurs and highlighting the work of our program’s mentors and partners who have dedicated so much time and support to each of the startups in these cohorts.”

The gener8tor Huntsville Investment Accelerator is an industry-agnostic program that invests $100,000 in five companies per year. The annual accelerator recruits globally for in-person participation in Huntsville.

Startups in the fall 2022 program relocated to the Rocket City from San Diego, Houston, and Washington, D.C.

The gBETA Huntsville is a free, seven-week accelerator for early-stage companies with local roots. Each program is capped at five to six teams and requires no fees or equity.

“RCP Companies and the MidCity Accelerator Foundation are inspired by the work of the gener8tor team and the diverse group of founders fostering their businesses in our Huntsville and North Alabama programs,” said Lindsey Pattillo Keane, executive director of MidCity District Association. “We invite the region to discover the robust start-up culture that is burgeoning in our community.

‘”The Tennessee Valley is known for brilliant, forward-thinking citizens, and gener8tor and the MCAF are ensuring that these big-thinkers have a local accelerator where their business endeavors can flourish and thrive.

Mentors and investors interested in connecting with the startups and programs are encouraged to contact Donna Ehart, Huntsville Investment Accelerator managing director, or Hua Wang, gBETA Huntsville director.
