HUNTSVILLE – Stephen Davis and Jordan Hennig have joined Butler Snow’s Huntsville office, the firm announced.
In the firm’s Labor & Employment Group, they will focus on business-based immigration, helping companies and their employees secure nonimmigrant work visas and permanent residency status.
“We are thrilled to have Stephen and Jordan join the firm’s Huntsville office,” said Christopher R. Maddux, chair of Butler Snow. “Both attorneys possess a deep knowledge of immigration issues and will be a tremendous asset to our Labor & Employment practice group and our clients as they navigate the complexities of global talent mobility.”
Davis worked for a national law firm based in Birmingham and played a key role in their immigration practice, representing clients across industries, including hospitality, manufacturing, healthcare, information technology, higher education, financial services, pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology.
He clerked for Judge Inge P. Johnson of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama. A graduate of the University of Alabama, Davis earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Alabama School of Law, where he was a member of the Alabama Law Review and served on the John A. Campbell Moot Court Board.
Hennig brings substantial experience in employment-based immigration and labor law. Working at a national law firm based in Birmingham, she assisted clients with securing nonimmigrant work visas, employment-based immigrant visas, and family-based immigration petitions.
She was a trial attorney within the Litigation and Enforcement Division of the Department of Transportation’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration in Washington. She also served in the Office of former Sen. Jeff Sessions.
Hennig earned her bachelor’s degree from Auburn University and her Juris Doctor from the University of Alabama School of Law.
