HUNTSVILLE — In a showing of the area’s diverse job market and the need to fill those vacancies, the Huntsville Career Center is hosting job fairs this week for three industries.
The Alabama Department of Transportation and Pilgrim’s will be meeting candidates Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Career Center. For those who can’t make Tuesday’s fair, Pilgrim’s will also have a job fair March 26 at the Career Center.
Applebee’s is holding its job fair Thursday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Huntsville Career Center.
The center is at 2535 Sparkman Drive, Huntsville.

Positions include the following entry level positions
– Engineering Aide: High school diploma or GED required.
– Transportation Maintenance Technician I: Completion of 8th grade required.
– Transportation Worker: Completion of 8th grade required.

Pay Starts at $17.25 per hour with incentives, plus an additional $2 per hour for night shifts.
Transportation to and from work for hires in the Decatur and Huntsville areas.
Positions also include benefits and tuition assistance.

Pay will depend on experience. Positions include:
– Assistant manager
– Team members (cooks, hosts, servers) for The job fair will be held on Thursday March 21st from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, at the Huntsville Career Center, 2535 Sparkman Drive, Huntsville, Alabama.
