Charge On! UAH hosts GSC men’s and women’s tournament quarterfinals

HUNTSVILLE — Basketball history will be made tonight in the Rocket City.

The University of Alabama in Huntsville women’s basketball team is carrying an all-time best regular season record of 23-5 and 18-4 in the Gulf South Conference.

The UAH men’s team (27-1 overall, 22-0 GSC) is ranked No. 3 in the nation while riding a 27-game winning streak – the longest win streak of any program in UAH history across all sports.

They both will be in action in the GSC Quarterfinals at Kelly Court in Spragins Hall.

The women’s team, ranked No. 6 in the South Region and the No. 2 in the tournament, tips off at 5:30 p.m. against seventh-seed Auburn-Montgomery.

The top-seeded men take on Lee University, the GSC eighth-seed, at 7:30 p.m.
