HUNTSVILLE — CommentSold has promoted Chief Growth Officer Gautam Goswami to chief executive officer of the company. Goswami succeeds the company’s founder and CEO Brandon Kruse, who will continue to serve on the Board of Directors.

CommentSold is a Huntsville-based live commerce-selling operation that helps retailers unlock sales growth.
Kruse said the transition better positions CommentSold for growth, innovation and long-term success.
CommentSold serves more than 4,000 small to enterprise-sized retailers and boasts 100 million items sold and $3 billion in lifetime gross merchandise value.
CommentSold recently launched Videeo, a best-in-class live video commerce technology. It provides companies the ability to integrate a live video commerce strategy into their existing tech stack, and deliver engaging, branded live video commerce experiences.
Prior to his role at CommentSold, Goswami has held positions focused on product and go-to-market.
He was also chief product and marketing officer at TeamViewer, creators of a remote connectivity software platform, the largest software IPO in Europe in 2019 when the business went public. Goswami has also held executive roles at OpenText and Informatica.
