Decatur Police Chief Pinion selected for FBI Academy

DECATUR — Decatur Police Chief Todd Pinion is representing the Decatur Police Department during the 286th session of the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Va.

Participation is by invitation-only through a nomination process and Pinion is one of approximately 250 participants in attendance during this session.

The academy offers 10 weeks of advanced communication, leadership, and fitness training, as well as coursework on law enforcement topics. Participants will also have the opportunity to network with law enforcement representatives from the United States and around the world.

The national academy is recognized as the top training institution for law enforcement professionals.
