enGenius welcomes George Wasenius as new vice president of operations

Huntsville’s enGenius Consulting Group welcomes George Wasenius as its new vice president of Operations.

Wasenius comes to enGenuis from Alutiq where he was president of multiple subsidiaries there. He now leads the enGenius operations division where he provides oversight for all active contracts with a focus on successful execution. He is also in charge of existing client growth.

Wasenius has 30 years of experience in high technology and successfully executing complex projects worldwide and has extensive experience with the U.S. Navy where he has been engaged with more than a dozen Navy programs including military weapon systems, SATCOM, NAVSEA, etc. He has also worked with the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of State and other federal clients.

Wasenius is originally from Virginia Beach but has lived in Madison for the past seven years and is very active in the community.

Headquartered in Huntsville with a regional office in Atlanta, enGenius employs more than 110 employees.

It is a small business integrator that provides a broad range of services and solutions related to strategy, technology, and program operations to the DoD, federal and state governments. Its mission is to transform complex technology into simple, cost-effective business solutions for the federal contracting world.
