The jam-packed guide features more than 100 free activities, workshops and special events that promise fall fun for all ages.

“The fall season is a great time to explore programs, connect with our recreation centers or spend some time at the park,” said Parks & Recreation Director James Gossett. “We’ve got a lot to offer this fall and we’re encouraging residents to spend the season being active, connecting with others and learning something new.”

Looking to stay active? There are plenty of options to get fit, from energetic walking groups to a variety of dance fitness classes. There are also athletic offerings, from traditional sports like basketball and volleyball to new favorites like pickleball and table tennis.

Feeling competitive? Capture an opponent’s king at Chess Club or win by luck at Senior Bingo. Artists can unlock their creativity through art and sewing classes.

The guide also features details about upcoming special events. From Halloween festivals at various recreation centers to the annual Fall for All event in Big Spring Park, the season’s calendar is filled with opportunities for family fun.
