HUNTSVILLE — Fantasy Playhouse Children’s Theater & Academy has been honored as a Southeast regional finalist for the 2023 Chick-fil-A True Inspiration Award. The local organization was cited for its commitment to making the arts access for everyone.
Nominated by Beth Monroe, owner and operator of Chick-fil-A in Parkway Place, Fantasy Playhouse provides North Alabama with theatre productions, educational camps and classes, as well as innovative community outreach programs.
Now Fantasy needs you to act – by voting – on the Chick-fil-A mobile app, available through the Apple App and Google Play stores.
To vote:

- Select “Rewards” at the bottom of the screen
- Click “Vote Now”
- Select Southeast region
- Read about this year’s regional finalist and cast your vote

As a show of appreciation by Fantasy Playhouse, anyone showing proof of voting will receive a free ice cream cone at the Parkway Place Chick-fil-A.
Fantasy Playhouse is the only nonprofit in the state to be recognized for this honor.
Chick-fil-A’s True Inspiration Awards program honors the legacy of Chick-fil-A’s late founder, S. Truett Cathy. Through the annual award program, Chick-fil-A provides grants to nonprofit organizations that are working to strengthen neighborhoods and cities.
True Inspiration Award categories include Caring for People, Caring for Food, Caring for the Planet, and Community. The company is awarding $5 million throughout the U.S. and Canada.
