Fireworks, Mike and Jude Roberts set for Christmas on the River

HUNTSVILLE – Fireworks and music highlight the weekend schedule at the second annual Christmas on the River at Ditto Landing. 

The fireworks, sponsored by Redstone Gateway, start at 7 p.m. Friday. Meanwhile, Mike Roberts of the band Five O’Clock Charlie is joined by his son Jude on the State Docks Stage from 5-8 p.m. Their music ranges from covers to originals.

The mile-long Christmas Card Lane will also be open for walking and via the shuttle service, and Reindeer Rails will be open from 5-8 p.m. Christmas Card Lane will also be open for walking Saturday and Sunday and continues daily through New Year’s Eve.

Christmas on the River is sponsored by the South Huntsville Main Business Association and presented by Freedom Real Estate and Capital and Madison County Commissioner Phil Riddick.

Other sponsors include Redstone Federal Credit Union, Erwin Marine, Hays Farm Homes and the Singing River Trail.
