HUNTSVILLE — When it rains, it pours and the next two days North Alabama will see more than its share.
An approaching cold front will prompt high chances for rain and storms from Wednesday afternoon into Thursday including flooding, according to the National Weather Service.
Gusty winds and heavy rainfall look to be the primary threat, the weather office said. But, the exact timing of severe or flooding threat is uncertain.
Additional rainfall throughout Thursday could lead to prolonged flooding concerns, forecasters said.
Temperatures will remain warm with highs 80-85 and lows in the upper 60s.
