HUNTSVILLE — Downtown Huntsville, Inc. and the Huntsville Music Office are excited to announce the headliners for the upcoming September and October installments of 805 After Five.
Headlining the September 19 concert is The Vegabonds and opening act Shane Davis Group.
The Vegabonds are a Nashville-based alternative southern rock band with energetic performances and hook-heavy songs. They boast a portfolio of albums that include crowd favorite songs like “Georgia Fire,” “Shaky Hands,” “Partying with Strangers,” and “Heartache and a Memory.” The Shane Davis Group is a popular rock band from Huntsville, who recently released an EP titled Concerning Comfort.
Taking the stage at the October 17 concert is S.G. Goodman and opening act Kaleah.
S.G. Goodman is an indie rock singer-songwriter from Western Kentucky. She has toured with popular artists like Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit and Tyler Childers and has a repertoire of critically acclaimed albums and songs. Goodman’s album Teeth Marks was named as one of Rolling Stone’s Best Country and Americana Albums of 2022. Her opener, Kaleah, is a singer-songwriter and producer from Huntsville, whose original music is rooted in jazz and R&B.
805 After Five offers an unparalleled experience every third Thursday from May to October at Campus 805’s Butler Green Park. Each event features an electrifying concert by a touring act, delicious food vendors, local artisan vendors, interactive activities, giveaways, and refreshing beverages from Straight to Ale and Yellowhammer. The concert and activities are completely free to attend.
Free on-site parking is available, but attendees are encouraged to carpool, rideshare, or bike. A designated Rideshare Station, sponsored by Timberlake, League & Brooks, and a Downtown BlueBikes station are available for easy transportation.
