HUNTSVILLE — The Friday Night Art Walks steps off in downtown Huntsville’s historic Courthouse Square this weekend.

The walks are from 5-8 p.m. and held on the second Friday of every month until October.

Hosted by Downtown Huntsville Inc., the art walks are a colorful way to get some exercise, do some shopping and enjoy the downtown entertainment district scene.

Adult visitors can grab a purple downtown Huntsville entertainment district cup and take a beautiful evening stroll around the historic square surrounded by live music, delicious cuisine and more than 50 vendors offering local art, home goods, baked goods and activities.

The Greater Huntsville Humane Society back is the official Art Walk charity partner. Every walk will offer adoptable animals, so if you are looking for a new fur-ever friend, you may want to plan for some puppy watching.

The list of art vendors is updated at Downtown Huntsville Inc.’s event page and on the Facebook event page.
