Frontier Airlines adds second nonstop service to Denver from HSV

Huntsville International Airport and low-cost carrier Frontier Airlines announced the addition of a second non-stop flight to Denver from HSV this spring.

Service begins on May 2, and Frontier will offer the weekly service on Mondays and Fridays, year-round with fares starting at $94 one-way.

Frontier began operations at HSV in 2018 and currently operates flights to Orlando (MCO) twice a week.

“Our passengers tell us that they have long desired this low-cost, non-stop flight to Denver,” said Rick Tucker, CEO, Huntsville International Airport. “We are thrilled to be able to offer it to them just in time for summer vacations out west.”

Frontier Airlines operates an all-Airbus fleet consisting of A320 and A321 aircraft with an order for 168 A321neo planes commissioned over the next seven years.

Their schedule includes a departure from HSV at 6:48 p.m., Monday and Friday, arriving in DEN at 8:49 p.m.; and a departure from DEN at 2:50 p.m., Monday and Friday, arriving in HSV at 6:24 p.m.
