Gener8tor startup accelerator revs up operations with new managing director

HUNTSVILLE – Business startup accelerator gener8tor is firing on all cylinders with managing director Donna Ehart joining program manager Carly Seldon.

The now-complete team of the MidCity-based accelerator is gearing up for the next round of applications for a place on gener8tor’s turnkey platform. The startup accelerator connects founders, investors, corporations, universities, job seekers, musicians and artists.

“Gener8tor’s commitment to be the best partner for the Huntsville community to create wealth and jobs by investing in its best and brightest, really addresses the need here in Huntsville, and speaks to my heart.” said Ehart. “As managing director of the Huntsville Accelerator, I can’t wait to interact with the outstanding innovators, leaders and companies that will participate in this program.”

Gener8tor offers a blend of concierge services to a select group of candidates, giving startups the opportunity to gain traction for rapid growth in the Rocket City.

By investing in high-growth startups, gener8tor supports the growth of these startups through its network of experienced mentors, technologists, corporate partners, angel investors and venture capitalists in more than 35 communities.

The gener8tor Huntsville Accelerator builds on the unique offerings of North Alabama to further attract and develop emerging startups. Ehart’s mission is to cultivate that next wave of innovative leaders and entrepreneurs across the region.

As an entrepreneur with more than 20 years of business experience with small and Fortune 500 companies, Ehart brings a wealth of knowledge and understanding to the gener8tor program. She also has firsthand knowledge and understanding of what it takes to rapidly scale a business by gaining profitable clients.

The gener8tor Huntsville Accelerator has partnered with RCP Companies, Mid City Accelerator Foundation and Made in Alabama to deliver a collaborative community-driven program that gives startups the opportunity to gain traction for rapid growth.

“RCP Companies and MidCity Accelerator Foundation continue to be impressed with the great work gener8tor and our sponsors are doing in our community,” said Lindsey Pattillo Keane, executive director of the MidCity District Association. “RCP Companies and MidCity District fostering the start-up culture in North Alabama, adds more layers to immense desirability of Huntsville and the Tennessee Valley. After just over a year of gener8tor Huntsville’s inception, the team is growing exponentially which illustrates the great work being done.

“We look forward to seeing Ms. Ehart soar in her new role.”
