Georgia investment firm plans to develop 246-home community in Harvest

ALPHARETTA, Ga. — A 246-home development with green space and fitness facilities is being planned for northwest Madison County, according to a Southeast-focused real estate investment firm.

DDB Capital Fund said it has acquired 117 acres on Capshaw Road in Harvest for its second large-scale community in the Huntsville area. Just 30 minutes west of Huntsville, the property is DDB’s fourth acquisition in Alabama.

Bringing “inspired living” to the Huntsville area, the company said its plans include 246 single-family and custom-built homes. Residents will have access to amenities including a resort-style pool, a state-of-the-art fitness center, pickleball courts, and an extensive network of walking trails woven throughout the property’s green spaces.
