RUSSELLVILLE — G&G Steel, a Russellville small business, was awarded an $18.1 million firm-fixed-price contract for the U.S. Army, the Department of Defense announced.
The $18,169,068 contract is to fabricate, assemble, and deliver one upstream miter gate with two leaves and the associated equipment. It has a total cumulative face value of $38,697,288.
Work locations and funding will be determined with each order, with an estimated completion date of Aug. 15, 2028.
The Army Corps of Engineers in Louisville, Ky., is the contracting activity.
