HUNTSVILLE — The Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering has appointed Ginger Harper, senior vice president and private retail banking manager at First Horizon, to the school’s Foundation Board.
“We are honored to have Ginger Harper join the Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering Foundation Board,” said Alicia Ryan, ASCTE Foundation board president and ASCTE board of trustees vice chair. “Her experience, commitment to community and financial expertise will help us fulfill our mission to promote and connect the school with critical industry, academia, and government partners, and to help raise needed funding to pay for ASCTE’s state of the art campus.”
She served on the board of the Community Foundation of Greater Huntsville, an organization for which she is a founding member; Alabama A&M University Board of Trustees; and Health Establishment at Local Schools (HEALS) board.
She is also a founding member of the International Women’s Forum-Alabama and a member of the Women’s Philanthropy Society, a mission of the Community Foundation. She is also past board chair of the Heart of the Valley YMCA and HEALS.
Harper has 22 years of private and retail banking experience responsible for lending, investment strategies, trust, and financial planning.
The Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation established in January 2018 with a mission to promote and connect the school with critical industry, academia, and government partners.
