Global defense company QinetiQ US celebrating expansion into the Rocket City

HUNTSVILLE — Global defense and national security company QinetiQ US is hosting a ribbon-cutting ceremony today to celebrate its expansion into the Rocket City.

According to the Virginia-based corporation, the ceremony and the growth represent its commitment to supporting Redstone Arsenal and the broader defense community with cutting-edge solutions across multi-domain autonomous systems, ISR, mission operations, and data and digital solutions.

“Our expansion into Huntsville marks a significant milestone in QinetiQ’s growth strategy,” said President and CEO Shawn N. Purvis. “For over 30 years, QinetiQ has been a leader in providing realistic threat representation through our advanced target systems and comprehensive support services. By establishing a presence in Rocket City, we’re bringing this legacy of service and innovation to support the warfighter with cutting-edge solutions across multi-domain autonomous systems, ISR, mission operations, and data and digital solutions.

The event will be held in partnership with the Huntsville/ Madison County Chamber at noon at 4100 Market St., Suite 100 in Redstone Gateway.
