Hays Farm homebuilder Goodall Homes ‘reorganizing’ Huntsville ops under Legacy brand

HUNTSVILLE — Goodall Homes, the builder of homes in the Hays Farm subdivision, is reorganizing under the Legacy Homes brand in the Huntsville market, according to a company official.

The Hays Farm page on the Goodall Homes website is blank.

Goodall Homes will not be leaving Huntsville,” said Chris O’Neal, chief business development officer with Goodall Homes. “We will be operating under our current brand, Legacy Homes of Alabama.”

The phone at the company’s office on Church Street in Huntsville has been “changed, disconnected or is no longer in service,” according to a recording. The Huntsville, Hays Farm, and Madison pages on its website – goodallhomes.com – are blank.

An email from Goodall posted on a local community group Facebook page reads, “we have made the decision to reorganize our operations in the Huntsville area. Specifically, our Goodall Homes brand and team will immediately cease new residential construction …”

256Today is awaiting a response from Hays Farm to an email Friday questioning how the Goodall Homes decision affects home construction in the south Huntsville community.

Ironically, the most recent post on the Goodall Homes website is titled “You Should Consider Moving to Huntsville. Here’s Why.”
