HUNTSVILLE — Add some punch to your holiday beverages, and make sure it’s on ice, with the Huntsville Havoc.

The boys of winter are home for a pair of back-to-back games on Thanksgiving and Black Friday, or rather, black and blue Friday.

The Havoc is hosting their annual Teddy Bear Toss on Thanksgiving with the Knoxville Teddy, er uh, Ice Bears in town for the 7 p.m. faceoff.

Fans are asked to bring a stuffed teddy bear and throw it onto the ice after the Havoc’s first goal of the night. Every bear will be donated to Toys for Tots and every toss helps make a difference for local kids this season.

On Friday, the force will be strong in the barn for “Star Wars” Night and the first 2,500 fans get a free lightsaber courtesy of Peraton.

The Havoc will be auctioning off the specialty “Star Wars” jerseys the players will wear against Quad City. Faceoff is 7 p.m.

All proceeds from the jersey auctions benefit Kids to Love, helping foster children in North Alabama.
