HUNTSVILLE — A $400 million housing development is coming to west Huntsville, according to Antonio McGinnis, CEO of the Huntsville Housing Authority.
The project represents a new partnership with the City of Huntsville for the redevelopment of the Butler Terrace Addition, aimed at providing better housing options and opportunities for senior citizens and former residents.
“We are very excited about this project that will not only benefit the community but also create new possibilities for senior citizens and former residents,” said McGinnis. “The redevelopment project will offer more modern and accessible housing units, along with community amenities and services.
“The Huntsville Housing Authority and the City of Huntsville are committed to working together to positively impact the lives of our residents,” he said.
The partnership between the Huntsville Housing Authority and the city of Huntsville is expected to bring about positive change and transformation in the community, with a focus on improving the lives of senior citizens and former residents.
McGinnis emphasized that the project is not just about building new housing units but also about creating a sense of community, improving quality of life, and providing opportunities for the residents.
He said believes the project will be a catalyst for economic growth and development in the area.
