He will be responsible for leadership and continued growth of the Advisory Services line of business and serve as principal-in-charge on large developments.

“Tyce has been instrumental in building our Advisory Services business from the ground up,” said Freedom President Lee Holland. “Over the past year, his leadership has been a driving force behind securing a growing portfolio of major projects.

“This promotion is a well-earned recognition of his contributions, and we look forward to continued expansion under his leadership.”

Since joining Freedom in 2022, Hudson has played a pivotal role in the rapid growth of the firm’s design and construction advisory services. Under his leadership, Freedom’s managed project portfolio has grown extensively, reflecting the company’s expanding influence and trusted expertise in the industry.

“I am grateful to be part of the Freedom team,” said Hudson. “It is an exciting time to be in Advisory Services, and I look forward to seeing the projects we will add in 2025 and beyond.”

Freedom’s advisory team oversees high-profile projects such as Alabama A&M University’s new science building and student amenities building, Clearview Cancer Institute’s Decatur campus, Special Aerospace Services manufacturing & assembly facility in Cummings Research Park and upcoming key projects for the University of Alabama in Huntsville.

These landmark projects underscore Freedom’s reputation for excellence and its ability to deliver strategic oversight on transformative developments, the company said.

Hudson has almost three decades of experience in construction. Before joining Freedom in 2022, he spent 24 years with the nation’s largest construction manager in various roles. He holds a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering from Auburn University.

He is accredited by the U.S. Green Building Council as a LEED Accredited Professional Building Design + Construction and as a Certified Construction Manager.
