HUNTSVILLE – Huntsville Animal Services is celebrating Valentine’s Day by spreading love to both pets and pet owners in need this week with reduced fees on adoptions on most adult pets and a drive-thru pet food pantry event.
Through Saturday, adoption fees for most adult pets will be lowered to just $14, making it the perfect time to welcome a furry companion into your heart and home.
Additionally, pet owners facing food insecurity can receive support at the Kisses & Kibble Drive-Thru Pet Food Pantry on Friday from 10 a.m. to noon at Huntsville Animal Services, 4950 Triana Blvd. The event will provide one free bag of pet food per household while supplies last.
“This Valentine’s season, we want to show love not just to our shelter pets, but also to the families in our community who need a little extra help caring for their animals,” said Animal Services Director John Fischer. “Whether you’re adopting a new best friend or picking up pet food, we hope to make a difference in the lives of both pets and people.”
