HUNTSVILLE — The votes are in and you can’t doubt their choice!

The Huntsville Botanical Garden was named a winner in the 2022 USA Today 10Best Readers’ Choice travel award contest for Best Botanical Garden, ranking No. 4 in North America.

The contest began with a list of 20 contenders, selected by an expert panel at USA Today 10Best, and the top 10 was chosen by public voting.

“We are proud to be recognized as one of the top botanical gardens in North America,” said Sue Wagner, chief executive officer of the Garden. “This recognition was made possible by the support of our community here in Huntsville and throughout the North Alabama region. Thanks to your support, we are able to show the nation what a special place we have here in Huntsville.”

The Garden has been recognized previously by USA Today 10Best in the Best Botanical Garden Holiday Lights contest, ranking No. 2 in 2020 and No. 7 in 2021.
