HUNTSVILLE – One of the most popular settings and venues for weddings in the Rocket City, the Huntsville Botanical Garden is hosting its first Wedding Expo next month.
Soon-to-be brides and members of their wedding parties will find all the essentials for planning a wedding, along with opportunities to meet vendors no wedding event can be without. The expo is June 4 from noon-4 p.m.
Planning a wedding has a lot of moving parts and can be a stressful time for everyone involved – just watch Bridezillas!
But the Wedding Expo at the Garden will take a lot of the time and burden off the bride and groom in their search for reputable wedding professionals. And it is likely to create an elegant and fun bonding experience for those involved in planning the wedding.
The expo will feature professional hair stylists, makeup artists, photographers and videographers, florists, cake decorators, deejays, rental companies, wedding planners, event coordinators, travel agents, decorators and caterers.
“Planning a wedding can be pretty stressful,” said Botanical Garden Sales and Event Venue Manager Devante Williams. “The Expo is a perfect way to vet potential vendors for your big day, and it can be a lot of fun crossing things off your ‘to-do’ list with your one special someone or your entire entourage.”
Guests will be able to sample products, ask questions to experts, and leave with a free Expo tote bag full of wedding planning swag.
“We want to make wedding planning as easy as possible by offering a variety of vendors all in one place at one time,” said Williams. “This expo will give guests an opportunity to chat with the area’s most talented wedding professionals as they taste delicious cakes, see beautiful flowers, find amazing décor and discover solutions for all their planning needs.”

Tickets include admission to the Garden and an complimentary coffee bar, as well as a cash bar for alcoholic beverages, will be available.
