HUNTSVILLE — The Huntsville/Madison County Chamber said “congratulations” Tuesday to the winners of its annual Best Places to Work awards.
Best Places to Work celebrates businesses that create an excellent workplace culture through employee engagement, strong leadership and communication.
More than 100 local companies recognized their employees as their most valuable asset, the chamber said. The companies use the Best Places to Work survey as a tool to gauge and improve their corporate culture according to Ashley Engles-Ross, the chamber’s vice president of Small Business.
“We had over 9,000 employees provide feedback on this year’s survey and look forward to more next year,” she said.
Winning companies were selected based on results from their employee surveys. The feedback from the surveys help businesses improve their workplaces.
The results were kept confidential prior to the luncheon ceremony at the Von Braun Center.
Three companies were enshrined in the Chamber’s Best Places to Work Hall of Fame for winning their divisions for 10 years or more. They are Intuitive Research and Technology Corp., Modern Technology Solutions Inc., and PeopleTec.
