Huntsville City Council meets to canvass runoff vote

HUNTSVILLE — The Huntsville City Council is holding a special session today to canvass the returns of last Tuesday’s municipal runoff.

The canvass is 2:30 p.m. on the first-floor Chambers of City Hall.

David Little and Andrea Alvarez were the winners last Tuesday. Little captured the City Council District 2 seat and Alvarez was elected to the Huntsville School Board’s District 3 position.
