Huntsville is ‘aces’ with national sports conference

HUNTSVILLE – The leaders of national governing bodies and sports organizations will be descending on the Rocket City in 2024 for the 2024 Association of Chief Executives for Sport Conference.

ACES is the trade association of CEOs and executive directors of non-profit sports governing bodies. The chief executives of most of the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee-recognized organizations are members of ACES. However, 20 of ACES’s 66 members lead organizations are outside of the Olympic & Paralympic family.

“The ACES family is excited to come to Huntsville for our 2024 conference,” said ACES Executive Director Rick Mack. “The team in the Rocket City put together a terrific program and support for our event that our members are going to enjoy.

“We look forward to great event in 2024.”

The annual conference addresses relevant topics and best practices and includes a variety of speakers who are subject matter experts. It is also a time for ACES members, sponsors and concierge members to network and discuss matters of mutual interest.

“We appreciate the trust that Rick and the ACES board have in bringing their annual conference to Huntsville,” said Joel Lamp, sports manager for the Huntsville/Madison County Convention & Visitors Bureau. “With the teamwork between the CVB and the Huntsville Sports Commission, this is a tremendous opportunity to show off how great our city is and continue building relationships with our friends at the national governing bodies.”
