HUNTSVILLE – The Huntsville/Madison County Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) has launched a brand identity featuring a new logo, tagline, colors, and fonts.
It was time for a change, said CVB President & CEO Jennifer Moore.
“It’s been more than a decade since a new brand was developed for the Convention of Visitors Bureau,” she said. “The former brand served us well, but it’s time to reflect the evolution of our community with a new brand identity, including a logo, tagline, and bright, bold colors.”

Moore said the brand is vital to representing their community and setting the mood for prospective visitors.
“I’m proud of the new brand identity that has been created,” she said. “It’s definitely next level, showcasing our multifaceted community through iconic imagery and clear messaging to raise awareness of Huntsville, Madison and Madison County as premier destinations for visitors, conventions, meetings or sporting events.”

Huntsville-based Bold Agency developed the brand identity. CEO Lauren Gowins said the new brand plays both an homage to Huntsville’s history while embracing the future.
“We took an all-encompassing approach to the rebrand. Huntsville is a place for all, and no matter what you’re interested in, there’s a diverse experience waiting for you. The new brand plays both in mods with Huntsville’s history about embracing the future,” said Gowins. “From the iconic rocket silhouette to the rolling hills of the Appalachian Mountains, this new brand ties together the contrast of Huntsville’s high tech industry and natural landscape.”
The revamp includes a tagline, “Gravitate Here.”
“So our tagline is a gravitate here and we feel like that’s very encompassing of our community,” Moore said. “We hope it’ll cause people to want to come visit and whether that’s sports or conventions or leisure travel or we think it will be appropriate for all.”
Moore said the economic impact of travel and tourism has grown to exceed $2.4 billion, with millions visiting Madison County every year.
“This new brand will reach prospective visitors from across the country and around the globe,” said Moore.
