Huntsville municipal offices closed Thursday-Friday

HUNTSVILLE – The City of Huntsville’s municipal offices will be closed Thursday and Friday for the Thanksgiving holiday.

The following services will be affected:

  • Garbage CollectionThursday’s residential curbside collection will be picked up Friday. Residents should leave cans at the curb until they are collected.
  • Public TransitThere will be no Orbit fixed-route or Access paratransit service Thursday but service will resume Friday.
  • Parks & RecreationRecreation centers and facilities will be closed both days and reopen Saturday.
  • Animal Services: Huntsville Animal Services will be closed Thursday through Saturday.
  • Municipal Court: Huntsville Municipal Court will be closed Thursday and Friday.
  • Public Safety: Police and Fire & Rescue will be on duty through the holiday weekend.
