Huntsville Parks & Rec kicking off Sweat-Tember Fitness Fun series

HUNTSVILLE — Looking to sweat and get a great workout in?

Huntsville Parks & Recreation has some news that may interest you.

A new community fitness series that will allow participants to enjoy a variety of invigorating group workouts led by top-notch instructors is coming to The Rocket City.

The multiweek fitness series invites residents ages 13 and up to participate on Saturdays from 9-10 a.m. this month. The series begins this Saturday at Hays Farm, with subsequent sessions Sept. 14 and 21 at Big Spring Park East.

“This is a fantastic opportunity to stay active and meet new people while burning some calories,” said Parks & Recreation Director James Gossett. “We anticipate plenty of motivation, movement, and laughter.”
