HUNTSVILLE — To help meet the needs of a growing population in northern Madison County, Huntsville Utilities is upgrading the capacity of its Burwell substation.
The work will require service interruptions starting about 8 a.m. Monday through Wednesday and last for about six hours, Huntsville Utilities said in a news release.
The substation provides electricity to approximately 2,500 customers in Harvest.
“This project will make electric service more reliable as this portion of our community continues to grow,” the news release said.
