Huntsville Utilities slates rolling lane closures on I-565 to change out streetlights

HUNTSVILLE – Motorists along I-565 should expect possible traffic delays this week as streetlights are changed out.

Huntsville Utilities said its Electric Operations crews will have rolling lane closures tonight and Thursday night in the inside lane of westbound I-565 from Chapman Mountain to the Old Madison Pike overpass to change out streetlights.

The closures will begin at 10 p.m. and end at 5 a.m. the following morning.

If possible, motorists are asked to plan alternate routes to minimize any inconvenience. If alternate routes are not available, be prepared for shifting traffic patterns and possible delays.
