Huntsville’s first Magnolia Soap opening at Bridge Street in May

Good news for people with sensitive skin. Magnolia Soap and Bath Company, specialists in plant-based bath products, is opening a store at Bridge Street Town Centre in late May.

All Magnolia Soap products are domestically sourced with naturally grown butters and oils, plant-based ingredients and fragrances that are free from “red flag” ingredients like phthalate and paraben, found in traditional soaps and possibly linked to medical issues.

The company offers a wide variety of home and bath products, including laundry soap and pet-friendly soaps and sprays that ensure customers they are not sacrificing health for beauty and do not have to worry about what they are putting on their skin.

The young company got its start in 2017 when founder Magen Bynum began looking for soap alternatives for her daughter’s sensitive skin. Her research convinced her most soaps are closer to detergents than traditional soap and they use questionable ingredients. She made it her mission to offer the beauty industry alternatives.

Magnolia Soap and Bath Company has a reputation for bringing a positive impact to every community where they have a store, always locally owned and operated, and seeking partnerships with other businesses, events, and charities.

“Bridge Street is a vibrant, lively, and exciting area of Huntsville,” said Bynum, owner of the new Huntsville store. “Our Magnolia Team loves to get involved in anything and everything going on.

“Bridge Street is a community of local businesses that are helping to support the city, but also each other. We knew this was exactly the place where we could be involved with the people of this awesome city, and partner and promote our neighbor’s local businesses as well.”
