Huntsville-based Sigmatech Inc. has been awarded a $49 million U.S. Space Force contract to provide systems engineering and technical assistance services supporting key space operations and logistics programs.
The firm-fixed-price contract, valued at $49,032,775, will provide technical, systems analysis, programmatic, requirements and analytical support for Space Systems Delta 80’s Operations Integration Directorate and Servicing, Mobility and Logistics Directorate.
Work will be performed at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida and Peterson Space Force Base in Colorado. The contract is expected to run through March 12, 2032.
The award was made through a competitive acquisition, with one proposal received.
At the time of the award, the Space Force obligated approximately $4.08 million in fiscal 2026 procurement funds and approximately $536,000 in fiscal 2026 research, development, test and evaluation funds. The 45th Contracting Squadron at Patrick Space Force Base, Florida, serves as the contracting activity.
The latest contract comes just days after Sigmatech secured another major federal award. Earlier this month, the company received a $108.9 million U.S. Air Force contract to provide systems engineering and technical assistance supporting the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Space Acquisition and Integration.
Headquartered in Huntsville’s Cummings Research Park, Sigmatech was founded in 1986 and provides engineering, technical, program management and training services to federal agencies. The company supports defense, aerospace and space programs for the Department of Defense, NASA and other government customers.
The back-to-back contract awards continue to highlight Huntsville’s growing role in supporting the nation’s military space enterprise and reinforce the region’s position as a hub for defense and aerospace innovation.
