Intuitive, 2 Huntsvillians to join Alabama Engineering Hall of Fame

HUNTSVILLE — What a year it’s been for Intuitive Research and Technology.

As it celebrates the one-year anniversary of CEO Emeritus Rey Almodóvar’s induction into the Alabama Engineering Hall of Fame, the company he co-founded will join the esteemed group. Almodovar was inducted last Feb. 25.

Intuitive, a Huntsville-based professional engineering and analysis firm, will be the 35th corporation to join the hall in a ceremony Feb. 24 at Huntsville’s Westin Hotel. A reception is 6 p.m. with dinner at 7 p.m. and the induction at 8:30.

To keep the celebration going, Intuitive is celebrating its 25th anniversary in June.

The Alabama Engineering Hall of Fame was established in 1987 to honor the outstanding accomplishments and contributions of individuals, projects, and corporations/institutions that have brought and continue to bring significant recognition to the State of Alabama.

There will be eight individuals inducted this year, including two from Huntsville – Axient’s Stephen Cash, vice president of NASA programs and subject matter expert providing direct support to NASA and the Artemis Program; and Patti Martin, a subject matter expert with TriVector.
