Invariant promotes Montgomery to COO

HUNTSVILLE — John Montgomery has been promoted to chief operating officer at Invariant Corp.

In his new role, Montgomery will oversee daily operations and ensure the company meets its financial and operational objectives.

Montgomery has been with Invariant for 13 years as department lead, project manager, test lead, and Lead Systems engineer in the software engineering field.

There he developed expertise in software development, program management, test planning, financial tracking and reporting, and process improvement, all experiences Invariant President David Anderson said made him a clear choice for COO.

“With his exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and commitment to excellence, John has been instrumental in driving our growth and success,” Anderson said. “I have no doubt that he will continue to excel in this new role and help take our company to even greater heights.”

Montgomery earned a bachelor’s in computer science from Athens State University and an MBA from the University of Alabama in Huntsville.
