Employee Peaks Fund at IronMountain Solutions awarded $54,500 to 10 local nonprofit organizations in December (IronMountain Solutions contributed)

HUNTSVILLE – The Employee Peaks Fund at IronMountain Solutions awarded $54,500 to 10 local nonprofit organizations in December.

The recipient organizations are the Community Free Dental Clinic, Jamal’s Helping Hands, National Children’s Advocacy Center, New Hope Children’s Clinic, Next Step Farms, One Generation Away, Russel Hill Cancer Foundation, Second Mile Development, the CornerStone Initiative, and the Women’s Resource Center.

The organizations were chosen by the company’s fund members after hearing presentations from applicants. The employee contributors are able to vote on the applicants during each grant period.

“As the Employee Peaks Fund reaches five years since inception, it is truly amazing to see the impact it has made,” said Bailey Lee, chair of the fund’s board of directors. “Thank you to our employee contributors and the amazing nonprofits who continue to generously support needs in our communities.”

To qualify, organizations must support any of the following: arts and culture, basic needs (food and clothing), economic opportunity, education, environment, health and wellness, neighborhoods, communities and recreation.

The fund and its contributors have awarded more than $400,000 in community grants since the fund was established in 2018.

“IMS employee contributors continue to impress me by their generosity,” said IMS President and CEO Hank Isenberg. “I look forward to seeing what the receiving organizations will do to further positively impact their communities.”

Grant applications will be accepted this spring.
