John Vannoy succeeds Devin Whitaker as president of Strata-G Solutions

Effective April 1, Strata-G Solutions named the company’s current chief operating officer, Colonel (Retired) John Vannoy, as president of one of Huntsville’s premier aerospace engineering and hardware solutions providers. Located off Wall Triana Highway in Huntsville, Vannoy is succeeding Devin Whitaker who founded the company in 2004. Whitaker has served as its president since Strata-G was acquired by the Aleut Corporation in 2019.

Vannoy joined the company as COO in early 2021 after a 32-year military career supporting Army Aviation. He brings over 33 years of military and aerospace industry experience into his new position.

Prior to joining Strata-G, Vannoy retired from military service as an Army Colonel and a senior Army aviator who served as an Army acquisition officer and Army project manager at the highest level, as well as the Army’s program executive officer (PEO) for U.S. Special Operations Command’s (USSOCOM) Rotary Wing portfolio, and as the military deputy to the acquisition executive USSOCOM.

Strata-G is tribally owned and a wholly owned subsidiary of Alaska Native Corporation (ANC), the Aleut Corporation with headquarters in Anchorage, Alaska.
