HUNTSVILLE — After an exhaustive search for an accounting, operations and compliance solution that will provide the tools they need to keep pace with rapid growth, JS Solutions has selected Unanet ERP GovCon over several other options.
The Huntsville-based defense contractor provides acquisition logistics, engineering and strategic consulting to the federal aviation market including the Department of Defense.
“We’re saving money by moving to Unanet,” said Chad Rodriguez, director of strategy and growth. “Our per-user cost per month is less expensive with Unanet than if we stayed with our off-the-shelf product and continued working with a compliance contractor.”
Like many Huntsville government contracting firms, JSS has seen extraordinary growth in the four years they have been in business. But rapid growth sometimes exposes a company’s weaknesses and it became abundantly clear JSS’ current off-the-shelf accounting software can’t keep pace with the firm’s compliance, accounting and operational needs, the company said.
JSS ultimately chose Unanet’s customized platform specifically for government contractors over a legacy system several company leaders had used.
Unanet beat the competition based on costs, its user-friendly interface, and uncomplicated maintenance.
JSS also used endorsements from SkyBridge Tactical and Radiance Technologies, who recently switched to Unanet.
Unanet will also scale its product to provide the strategic insights JSS needs to support its anticipated growth this year and beyond.
